While its installation is quite similar to a bed canopy, its attachment involves some important variations to be aware of. Discover the following methods to bring all the charm your bedroom deserves!
First method: drill through the ceiling
The first method involves drilling into the ceiling to insert wall plugs and then hanging the canopy. If this DIY project seems too complicated, please note that all our bed canopies come with the necessary fixings.
- Put a tarp over the bed to keep it clean.
- Drill holes in the ceiling at the 4 corners of the bed
- Insert a dowel into each hole
- Screw a hook into each ankle
- Then hang the veil’s hooks
- Arrange the veil in an elegant way
2nd method: without drilling through the ceiling
For this second method, it is a matter of using one of the following fixing methods, in order to leave the ceiling intact and fixing the 4 ends of the veil to it.
- Adhesive tape
- Modeling clay
