Univers Ciel de Lit was born from a simple idea: the space above a child’s bed deserves the same care as everything inside it.
Why We Started
Univers Ciel de Lit began with a search for one thing: a bedroom that felt calm. Between synthetic fabrics, harsh dyes, and decor that looked pretty but did little else, we couldn’t find canopies that matched the way we wanted to raise our own children — gently, and close to nature.
So we started making our own. What began as canopies for our family’s cribs grew into a small collection, then a full range of organic cotton canopies, drapes, and play mats — each one designed the way we’d want it for our own home first.

Every piece starts with certified organic cotton, woven into double muslin — two loose layers stitched together for a fabric that’s light, breathable, and only gets softer with time. From there, it’s cut, hemmed, and finished by hand before it ever reaches your home.
